Man Lives in Blog, Really

RIGHT HERE, Now - Cody Coderson, a tireless blogger at www.pleasepayattentiontome.com, claims to have embedded himself into his blog and reports to be living quite happily. If his claim holds true, this will mark the first occasion in internet history a blog has served an actual purpose. Coderson, who achieved a modicum of fame while begging friends, family, and strangers to visit his site with the tagline, “I really am a lot more exciting not in person,” boasts that his new home is filled with an enormous collection of his favorite things, and he always understands exactly what’s being said. “It’s almost like everyone here is on the same wavelength… mine.” His only complaint is that things rarely surprise him, and when they do “It’s usually because some total stranger just flung some graphic advertising in my face.” He admits that most strangers do this, “Especially Russian looking ones,” whatever that means. When asked how long he plans to inhabit his blog, Coderson plays elusive: “Okay, if we add your two readers, plus my mom, and my two ex-girlfriends (maybe)… You know, I think I’ll wait a little longer… Umm… until someone more important shows up.” As of press time, Coderson’s letters to Dave Barry, Arianna Huffington and William Shatner, have gone unanswered. “Apparently their ghostwriters were unimpressed,” notes Coderson forgivingly.
