Alan Colmes, 2008 Person Of The Year

The Office @ Receiving Me? - The results are in, and Receiving Me? has named Alan Colmes 2008 Person Of The Year. Though Colmes faced stiff competition from President-Elect, Barack Obama, and that guy who won So You Think You Can Dance, Colmes’s last minute decision to leave Hannity and Colmes and Fox News, without even a token liberal, crushed all notions of the mousy host, and placed him miles ahead of the competition. Political analyst, Punny Namehere, described Colmes’s actions as “A shattering of conventional wisdom the likes of which we have not seen before in any political arena.” Indeed, no one believed that Colmes would ever tire of the whippings nightly provided by co-Host Sean Hannity, who is currently unsure where to direct his anger and spittle. “Is it something I said?” wondered a visibly distraught Hannity before downing a scotch in front of a live T.V. audience, “Maybe I should have been more attentive to his needs. I was running a little low on saliva this month…”
A representative for Colmes promised that the “sort-of liberal pundit” would have something to say about receiving the prestigious award once Hannity was done talking. People who actually care about Hannity are interpreting this as a sign that the relationship can yet be saved. However, saner people interpret this is as an indication that Colmes is gracious, even in victory, or that he has no idea how to behave when he wins. Regardless, Mr. Alan Colmes, Esquire, Receiving Me? 2008 Person of The Year, we solute you!

This is total bullshit! Everybody knows I should have gotten this award! Well, at least it didn’t go to Barack/Stalin.
Settle down Hannity. There’s enough Colmes for all of us to enjoy/beat on.
