MC Gielgud

Feb 10th, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms

Word!Following in the footsteps of Biggie Smalls, Sir John Gielgud, the late great actor of the English stage, is planning an after death comeback. Gielgud’s first hip-hop album, The Bard’s Got Flow, will hit stores this month. The album features Gielgud performing Shakespearean monolgues with hip-hop instrumentals. Producer, Icey Timberland, describes the album as “Shakespeare… but good.” Gielgud’s estate has additional albums in the works in  hundreds of different genres, including reggae, new age, country western,  flamenco, and “any other genre nobody can picture Gielgud listening to.” These additional albums will be released shortly, or, as the estate claims, “as soon as this concept proves to make us richer.”

Somehow, probably because none of this is true, RM? obtained exclusive rights to the first track on Gielgud’s new album. Enjoy!

A domestic shorthair with a luminous grey mane who is loving and affectionate, personable and sweet. Already de-clawed and neutered, he does suffer from several conditions, such as a heart murmur, chronic uveitis (inflammation of the middle layer of the eye), tumors in both ears, and possibly a hyperthyroid-- all reliable diagnoses he gleaned from CatWebMD.com.

  1. I trow Sir John wouldst hie himself high up in thy grill for thy insolence, though thy gift for remix be wondrous phat….
