Totem Destroyer 2

Apr 27th, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Video Vignettes

While perusing a book of supposed truths called Uncle John’s Extraordinary Book of Facts & Bizarre Information, I ran across an ironic sidebar: “The lowest man on the totem pole is the most important.” While this would lead some to question how exactly this turn of phrase came to mean the (ahem) polar opposite (sorry, I had to go there), it rather got me thinking about video games. Specifically, a great flash game that we feature on this site called Totem Destroyer. Yes, we have a game section, we just hardly ever mention it, update it, or put any work into it (much like the rest of the site). Well, one of the wondeful things about the simplicity of a flash game is how quickly a sequel can be produced (that is, if the original game has a big enough fan base to warrant one). Well, apparently, people other than me liked Totem Destroyer!

(My sincerest thanks to the video game deities!)

Without further ado, I present to you Totem Destroyer 2. It is infinitely more complicated than the first, and it took me several hours to beat. Let’s see what you can do.

TOTEM DESTROYER 2

If you need help, I put together this walkthrough video; I’d appreciate it if you’d pretend I played through the game this quickly! Of course, you could just click the in game “walkthrough” button to get help… but what fun would that be?!
