Subjects Unknown: Part 2 (recorded aprox. 150 B.C.)

Jul 23rd, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms, Featured Articles

A long, long time ago in a galaxy where people put content on this blog, Co-Founders, Bernard Bygott and Leslie Fox, recorded stuff with no preparation at all. Part of that session was posted on this blogazine– who can forget the extremely creative title “Subjects Unknown: Part 1“? Shortly thereafter, all RM? contributors went on vacation, promising … [continue]

Five Minutes You’ll Never Get Back- REMIXED

May 15th, 2009 | By Leslie Fox | Category: Eargasms

Like all great entertainments of the twentieth century, Receiving Me? podcasts yield a rich harvest of out-takes and bloopers. And certainly we are not the type to deny our audience the, ahem, pleasure of yet more or our nonsense. So gaze behind the curtain at Receiving Me? studios and into the vast vacuum of our talent. … [continue]

RM? Pods the TV Murder Genius

May 14th, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms

“Eargasms” hosts, Bernard Bygott and Leslie Fox, are proud to present semi-organized banter on the phenomenon of the TV murder genius. Other words may eventually go here expressing more relevant points on the topic, but exhaustion has set in, and this writer needs a shower. If you like what you hear, subscribe, tell your friends, and send rations. Better yet, … [continue]

Tech Rehearsal

May 12th, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms

Dear “Eargasms” listeners,

A long, long time ago, RM? co-founders, Leslie Fox and Bernard Bygott, tried to record a podcast chronicling the USA TV show “Burn Notice”. It was a complete disaster. Our previous podcasts were recorded in a professional studio, but the “Burn Notice” session was our first attempt to accomplish repartee in a non-studio environment (Leslie’s parents’ living room). We sucked. … [continue]

RM? Pods the Oscars (pt. 2)

Mar 2nd, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms

Well, much was learned after editing the first half of RM?’s Oscar podcast. Some noted how there was a lack of “ideas” or “continuity”, while others focused on someone’s whiny sounding voice. (Hey, I’m just keepin’ it real, baby!) Overall, the show was a sensational success.

Now, the second half of this soon-to-be-famous pod is much shorter and contains a few less pointless tangents, but may just wow audiences anyway. Discerning listeners (as if we have that kind) will note that RM? dipped deeply into emergency funds… [continue]

RM? Pods the Oscars

Feb 28th, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms

There should be clever text here that will entice you to listen to RM?’s first podcast which covers the Oscars in a breathtakingly brilliant manner. However, it is currently four o’clock in the morning and attempting such writing is dangerous at best.

Here is the first part in a two part series on the Oscars. (There will also be … [continue]

Gielgud Rocks!

Feb 18th, 2009 | By Bernard Bygott | Category: Eargasms

Sir John Gielgud’s first hip-hop album, The Bard’s Got Flow, has literally taken over the internet. According to someone lying, computer scientists across the globe are making contingency plans “should the net prove incapable of harnessing such awesomeness.” Perhaps it is fitting for the internet to be taken out by a blog no one reads, or maybe that makes no … [continue]
